Hello From the Other Side...

I've been givin' it all a try...

Okay, okay. That was corny, I know, but sometimes when I don't know what to say, or where to start, I use goofy humor to cover for myself. Also sometimes, I lose myself in work (and not in the good way) that any creative work (that I want to do) gets shuttled into the background. And every time that happens, I promise myself that no matter what, I will always put storytelling first, and business second.

Except sometimes, business is a necessity.

I mean, you can't cook when all the pots are dirty, right? You can't dress yourself up when you haven't done your laundry...ever. For me, the business stuffs is a lot like making dinner, I guess. And I am not a very good or clever cook.

So much has been happening this year, that it feels like it's been a YEAR instead of just three months. I wrote major revisions in Dragon Protocol; helped design a cover; then redesigned the cover with my own designer; formatted nine books; worked with two different cover designers...I'm bored just telling you about it.

I do have stories behind the revisions and the cover redo, though I'm going to save those for you for another time. Suffice it to say that, on April 7th, 2022, I finally began work on all the big writing plans I have for this year! It's certainly taken me long enough.
